Innovative Public school and Jr. College, Borawade, conducted a debate competition for Jr. And Sr. Group on the topic

 Jr. Pratap House – Does technology enable people to commit crime.

Sr. Ashoka  House – Internet is better for learning.

On 7th October 2023.

The aim of organizing debate competition was to hone the public speaking skills of the students and teach them to be articulate while expressing their thoughts and opinions. It was conducted into 3 phases. First Round was introduction of the topic,the second round was argument and the third round was questions and answers.

Many individuals have taken advantage of skills such as critical thinking, communication, collaboration and creativity learned through speech and debate and forged successful careers, including some who have become familiar names in business, education, entertainment and politics.

   Unlike so- called debate happening at this time of year, through high school debate programs students learn to work in a team structure make decisions, solve problems and communicate effectively with other people. They learn that argumentation is not opinion and involves understanding of Real issues.

  The participants displayed remarkable confidence and maturity. PRATAP house won the first prize in Junior group and Tilak house won the first prize in Senior Group.

Honerable Sambhaji Sathe sir and  Mrs. Sathe mam and principal Mrs. Bhoite mam encouraged the students to participate in such compitition and Enhance their oratory skills.And this event was successfully organised by cultural department head mrs. Davar mam and all the staff of residential department. And the whole program was Anchored by Master AtharvRaj Patil and master Prithviraj kandolkar and master Anish Bhujbal.
